1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using materialstestingjobs.com (the "Site") or enrolling in the CMT Academy certification program, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use this Site or enroll. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and program participants.
CMT Academy reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. About CMT Academy
CMT Academy is an independent construction materials testing certification training program. We provide study guides, practice exams, certification exam fee sponsorship, and W2 job placement assistance for graduates. CMT Academy is not affiliated with any specific construction firm. Job placement is provided through relationships with partner CMT firms that hire W2 employees.
CMT Academy does not itself employ construction workers. Upon successfully completing the program and passing your official certification exam, we facilitate introductions to partner firms that make W2 employment offers.
3. Enrollment, Fees, and Refund Policy
Enrollment Fee: $27.00 USD, processed securely via Stripe. This fee is fully refunded on your first paycheck after being placed in a W2 position through the CMT Academy program.

- Study guide for your chosen certification, emailed immediately after payment
- Full-length practice exam with unlimited retakes
- Official certification exam fee sponsorship after passing the practice exam with 70%+ score
- W2 job placement assistance with partner CMT firms after passing your official exam
- $27 enrollment fee refunded on your first paycheck after placement
Exam Sponsorship Conditions
CMT Academy will pay your official certification exam fee subject to the following conditions:
- You score 70% or higher on the CMT Academy practice exam
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are eligible to work in the United States
- You are willing to travel for W2 employment
- You agree to seriously consider W2 job placement through our partner firms
Refund of Enrollment Fee
The $27 enrollment fee is refunded when you accept and begin W2 employment through a CMT Academy partner firm. The refund is processed on your first paycheck. If you are not placed in a W2 position within 12 months of passing your official certification exam, you may request a partial refund of the enrollment fee minus the exam fee we paid on your behalf.
4. Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be willing to travel for work assignments
- Must complete the study guide and pass the practice exam before exam sponsorship is provided
- Must provide accurate and truthful information during enrollment
Providing false information during enrollment or misrepresenting your qualifications may result in immediate termination from the program without refund.
5. Communications Consent (TCPA)
TCPA Consent: By enrolling and checking the consent checkbox, you expressly consent to receive calls and text messages from CMT Academy at the phone number provided, including calls and texts made using an automatic telephone dialing system or pre-recorded voice. These communications relate to your enrollment, certification progress, and job placement opportunities. Consent is not a condition of enrollment. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text. Standard message and data rates may apply.
6. No Guarantee of Employment
CMT Academy provides job placement assistance but does not guarantee employment. Placement with a partner firm is contingent on:
- Passing your official certification exam
- Satisfactory background check results (conducted by partner firms)
- Availability of suitable W2 positions at the time of placement
- Mutual agreement between you and the partner firm
Salary ranges shown on this Site represent market data for the construction materials testing industry and are not guarantees of future earnings. Actual compensation depends on the specific position, location, project type, hours worked, and individual performance.
7. W2 Employment and Partner Firms
CMT Academy facilitates W2 employment with partner construction firms. The employment relationship is between you and the hiring firm — not CMT Academy. Benefits including health insurance, 401k matching, company vehicles, and per diem are offered by partner firms at their discretion and may vary by employer. CMT Academy represents that partner firms offer competitive W2 benefits packages based on our knowledge of their current offerings, which are subject to change.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site including study guides, practice exams, text, graphics, and software is the property of CMT Academy or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our study materials without written permission. Study materials are licensed for your personal use only and may not be shared, resold, or distributed.
9. Prohibited Conduct
- Submitting false or misleading enrollment information
- Sharing study guides or practice exams with third parties
- Attempting to game or manipulate the practice exam system
- Using the Site for any unlawful purpose
- Interfering with the proper functioning of the Site
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THIS SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. CMT ACADEMY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT STUDY MATERIALS WILL GUARANTEE PASSING THE OFFICIAL CERTIFICATION EXAM, OR THAT JOB PLACEMENT WILL OCCUR WITHIN A SPECIFIC TIMEFRAME.
The earnings calculator and salary figures on this Site are provided for illustrative purposes only and do not represent guarantees of future earnings.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CMT ACADEMY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS SITE, ENROLLMENT IN OUR PROGRAM, OR FAILURE TO OBTAIN CERTIFICATION OR EMPLOYMENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS SITE OR PROGRAM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ENROLL ($27.00).

15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
